Designed and delivered a permanent brand installation to transform the arrival experience between Heathrow Terminal 4 and Premier Inn.
Role
Head of Studio | Creative Operations Lead
Led project delivery, stakeholder alignment and implementation across Brand, Operations, Facilities and external suppliers.
Challenge
The covered link bridge between Heathrow Terminal 4 and the hotel lacked brand presence and emotional impact, creating a missed opportunity to influence guest perception at a key arrival moment.
A solution was required that could operate within a live airport environment while meeting durability, compliance and operational constraints.
Approach
Positioned the walkway as a branded arrival experience, designing a delivery framework covering:
• concept translation into a physical environment
• material specification and durability requirements
• stakeholder coordination across airport and hotel operations
• compliance, approvals and installation planning
• alignment to brand colour and sensory experience
Delivery
• Developed and delivered a permanent installation using coloured light panels aligned to the Premier Inn palette
• Collaborated with designers and external suppliers to translate concept into a durable physical solution
• Coordinated supplier management, compliance approvals and on-site installation within a live airport environment
• Installed 34 pairs of coloured panels to create a dynamic, immersive arrival experience
Impact
Transformed a transitional space into a distinctive brand moment, strengthening first impressions and reinforcing brand identity through physical experience.
Delivered a scalable approach to environmental brand integration, demonstrating how creative operations can extend brand presence beyond traditional marketing channels.
