Go Native, a global provider of luxury serviced apartments, sought to introduce the concept of ‘the neighbourhood’. Leveraging their position, they offer guests valuable ‘local knowledge’ before and during their stays, using social platforms to connect them to their surroundings.
Issue
Arriving at a serviced apartment in an unfamiliar city can be overwhelming. Navigating an inner-city environment and locating essential services can leave guests feeling lost and frustrated. Instead of spending time deciphering maps or scrolling through endless online searches, guests crave a quick, seamless way to explore their new surroundings and discover nearby amenities as soon as they arrive.
Idea
To complement the integrated campaign, an app concept was developed and prototyped around the campaign message ‘Neighbourhood Included’. Guests are directed to the app store via a QR code in their welcome pack. The multi-functional app uses GPS to help guests easily locate essential services like coffee shops, dry cleaners, restaurants, theatres and ATMs in the local neighbourhood. Additionally, the app enables users to instantly share photos on social media, enhancing the local experience.

Launched in 2014, gonative.com became a branded, innovative e-commerce tool that redefined the guest experience. The planned app release in 2016 further solidified Go Native’s commitment to integrating technology and local knowledge into their services.
